Self Tuning Guitar!

Yes,what is the world coming to.I assume a parent came up with that idea.:whistling:There is really nothing more pleasant then listening to an electric guitar among some other instruments being tuned...:D

You clearly never had a brother learning violin then trumpet.Guitar is sweet in comparison.
 
This "Robot" guitar came out two years ago. I remember when it first came out my boyfriend (who has a lovely Les Paul) and I were talking about it... if it was something he'd be interested in. Our initial reaction was, "oh cool!"... but it's really not necessary.

I bet it would be pretty useful however if you were putting on a show and had to re-tune after each song.
 
I saw a close up of it. It had a variety of auto tunes more then could be just standard. And I think you can set in your own. Can't picture anyone having to suddenly tune from E to A though heh. Even though it would be nice to not always raise and lower my trem to get from D to C to B and back again.

Thomas,you are right,the violin must have been hell.My kids went through the flute thing during music class and that was no fun but it's the tuning,after that I am ok.Trying to get the sound right on an electric guitar hooked on an amp,fun,lol.
We just got my son a Bouzouki,what can I say,love it,he played his first song on it yesterday.
