Stephen King / Dark Tower Comics!

Treachery #6 of 6
Came out last Wednesday. I feel that the comic outshines Robin Furth's Mid-World's history on riddles.
In this issue, we have the party in the Great Hall, riddles are being told, and that moment that we all know about from reading DTIV: Wizard & Glass:
Roland kills his mother thinking that it is Rhea of the Coos sneaking up behind him trying to kill him.
It's not a real spoiler if you've read it.

And yup, there's going to be a one-shot all about the man in black Marten Broadcloak/R.F.. I'll update y'all on that later.

I've got the Treachery hardback in my amazon wishlist.

Nice. You'll be happy with it. I'll have to send ya a copy of this one Robin Furth story on the Little Sisters, it's pretty good.

Hmm. I posted the same thing twice. The internet was acting up at school.

Hi ppl, one question, its kinda stupid, but need to ask:

Read the books then Graphic Novel? or does the graphic novel covers the books?

I know this thread has gotten kind of long, but this question is addressed in here somewhere.

I personally feel that one should read the books first (they came first afterall). And the first story arc of Marvel's DT is basically an abridged version of DT:IV. After the first arc, the rest are new stories expanding on things only hinted at or briefly mentioned in the books. I feel that if you haven't read the books, you'd be missing out on some insider info... but it's not necessary to have read the books. The comics are fine for new comers as well.

Just my opinion.

Let's see if anyone else has something else to say about it. There are at least two others who have read the book and the comics in this forum.

Read Treachery yesterday and loved it, definitely the best of the series so far. Was Cort's niece ever mentioned in the books?

It really is the best.
I don't think she was mentioned. Must be an invention of the Marvel team. I liked the stuff with Roland's mom the best.

Read the new hardcover just out, The Fall of Gilead. Great stuff. The death's are coming fast and furious now. Can't wait for the final series!

The artwork is totally out-of-this-world! Beautiful illustrations throughout make it a real joy to experience from cover to cover. The hardback volume includes all of the seven previously released graphic additions of the set.

For me the graphic novel was more of a review of WAG…
