Miss marple disappoints

The new series on MASTERPIECE MYSTERY features a new MIss Marple.
Sadly disappointing in all ways. :sad:
 
I was so disappointed in the new MIss Marple series on MASTERPIECE MYSTERY.
The books she stars in have become a close second to Poirot but this new MIss Marple is sadly miscast imo.

What do you all think? :confused:
 
Do you mean Julia McKenzie?

I didn't like her all that much in the first story that aired in Australia (A Pocket Full of Rye), but since then two more episodes have aired her (Murder is Easy and Why Didn't They Ask Evans?) and my opinion of her has improved slightly.

But far from the best Miss Marple I have seen.
 
I didn;t see the cast but it's the latest one
I liked the last one ... teh very small thin woman

At least teh stories are good
Part 2 airs here on Sunday ... will let you know what I think
 
Actress playing miss marple disappoints

Someone misunderstood my post about miss marple ... She is of course a wonderful character but the new actress playing her is a disappointment to me.
