60 Years of the National Book Awards

Do you recommend Sophie's Choice? A friend gave that to me but I haven't felt the urge to pick it up. I also have The World According to Garp lying around someplace :D.

I haven't read much from that list either. The only ones were The Corrections and The Invisible Man, as well as some of Flannery O'Connor's stories.

I own a few on the list, including Sophie's Choice, but the only one I've read was The Corrections.
