I'll wait. I'm falling further behind, every minute of every day.
And I do have to keep the slot open for Inherent Vice. :innocent:

Falling further behind with what?

Actually further behind in my typing skills also, I notice,
The was supposed to be :D :D.

But with what? Been branching out in genres -- plays, theater, writing, poetry, and now horror: In the Night Room by Peter Straub. As well as arcane stuff (for me): Clarice Lispector (The Stream of Life), Marguerite Yourcenar (Memoirs of Hadrian). Still haven't started the one remaining Nabokov novel, (Invitation to a Beheading) so that's a landmark for falling behind. :D
Good to hear from you
Best Regards
:flowers:

Hey Peder. :)

Wow, that's quite a challenge. :whistling:

Invitation to a Beheading sounds appealing, since Libra (if I recall correctly) read it. It's been a while since I attempted a Nabokov...

And to stay on topic a touch, to avoid upsetting the admin: Me Cheeta does look fun. Quirky, anyway. The rest of the longlist titles seem quite conventional in comparison.
