Tom Bradby: Master of Rain

I just finished Master of Rain by Tom Bradby, and I think it is one of best detective novels I have ever read. It is set in Shanghai in 30s and is story of investigation into murder of Russian prostitute. It is truly suspenseful, with many surprising twists, and is also very interesting from historical point of view. I definitely recommend this book for anyone who likes either true mysteries or historical fiction.

I have that book myself, and agree it's a good one. Little grim in spots though, so maybe a PG book.

Was at the 2nd hand bookshop today and came across this book. Had to buy it after remembering this post. The first few pages had me hooked. Thanks again for another great recommendation.
