Robert Harris: The Ghost

Finished The Ghost Writer by Robert Harris and it was in my opinion a waste of time. British prime minister writes book with supposedly big secret and I will not give secret in case someone else wants to waste time but it is not such big deal and really when secret is revealed I could only say so what, who cares?
I think it could have been good story but full of same old political crap everyone is sick of hearing about. Whoever harris is he obviously thinks reader will be interested in this stuff but I think most people do not care about it. Maybe they are in England but I doubt it.

Sorry to hear that about the book. It made an interesting movie I thought (if I have the right movie in mind).

I enjoyed the movie so im abit surprised that the book is disappointing when normally the book adaptation is better!

Wont look into the book then now

This is only my opinion. Perhaps you would enjoy the book. Everyone has different taste. I have read books that I loved but according to critics the book was terrible.

I'm curious to read the book now, it's in my stack. We saw the movie, and thought it was pretty good. Wonder if this is one of the cases where the pic is actually better than the book.

I thought this was the case with The Quiet American. Also The Tailor from Panama.
