Scott Adams: God's Debris - A Thought Experiment

I read this book today. I just couldn't put it down! I was completely enthralled with it. The way it makes you think about so many different concepts, perceptions, ideas, is completely amazing!

Has anyone else read this book? If so, what did you think?

I have had this book for awhile, and really want to read it, but just have not found the time.

Have you read his "sequel" to it? The Religion War

No I haven't I didnt even know there was a sequel, but I am going to the bookstore today so I will definately check it out!

I read it on the train a couple of weeks back. It is very interesting but there are so many other philosophical books out there that are much more satisfying.

Free download of the book at this link.

Why is it Free?

Frankly, this is the hardest book in the world to market. When it first came out in hardcover, booksellers couldn’t decide if it was fiction or nonfiction. Was it philosophy or religion? It’s a religion/science book written by a cartoonist, using hypnosis techniques in the writing. It’s a thought experiment. It’s unlike anything you’ve ever read. How do you sell something that can’t be explained?

I bought it when it first came out and I liked it although I was hoping it would be more like the last chapter of The Dilbert Future.

Recently I read God's Debris too. I agree, it's a really interesting book... lots of intresting concepts and characters.
