i'm trying to find this book for my uncle. he read the book in high school and is now nearing 40. it is about some1 who is captured by aliens and is experimented on and so forth. the author makes it seem as if it is a human who was held captive but at the end of the novel it is revealed that the aliens are human being from earth. i don't know the author, title, year it was published, who the publisher is, any key words, or anything else. so if some1 could help me find this book by Christmas it would be amazing and i would very much appreciate it.

That sounds like an episode of the twilight zone or outer limits. I know those shows were written from short stories and books, why not try researching the sources for the shows?
Did your uncle read the book as part of his high school curriculum or on his own? If it was part of the curriculum you might be able to get a hold of records from the school board. If he read it on his own, and if he thinks it was a newish publication at the time, you could take a look through sci-fi publication lists.
Other than that, I have no clue! Hope you find it!
