Clash of the Titans (2010). For the most part, I was disappointed. It didn't feel like an epic adventure. Also, Liam Neeson overdid most of his scenes.

It wasn't very good at all. The Kraken scene was disappointing. I can't believe they are going ahead with the sequel.

Sam Worthington (Perseus) admitted COTT had problems. He claims the sequel's going to improve upon them, but I'm not holding my breath. I will say I really enjoyed the scorpion battle. Best scene in the entire movie! The Kraken scene was mostly good, but the CGI looked obvious.

Pontypool - 4/5
Uchoten Hotel (THE 有頂天ホテル) - 4.5/5
Fine, Totally Fine - 4/5
Cursed (Extremely Scary Story A: Dark Crow) - 2/5

Four Lions. About a group of inept suicide bombers. There has been discussion about the humour being too dark and in bad taste because of the subject matter, and while not brilliant, is a fair attempt at tackling some of the issues inherent with the whole let's blow ourselves up philosophy.
It made me laugh out loud several times, therefore it gets my vote.

^^ I really liked Four Lions.

Watched Kim Ki-duk's Samaritan Girl. Watching Kim's movies is a bit of a gamble, more than once (but especially with Bad Guy) I've come away from them absolutely disgusted without being sure if that was his intention or not; but he's never dull and his movies are never not beautiful. Samaritan Girl is him in a more forgiving mood - yes, there's teenage prostitution and honour killings and literally brains splattering on screen, but somehow he manages to scale it all down to a low-key family drama with some truly heartwarming moments. Kim is a weird film maker, but alongside 3-Iron, this is probably the nicest I've seen him. You know, all brains considered. :star4:

I Spit On Your Grave(2010) ~ I had to purge and shower after watching this one. Not as good as the original, but still worth a look, especially for fans of torture porn. :star3:

Wall Street: Money Never Sleep - I like it. I haven't seen the first one so I don't know what they are talking about sometimes but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
