I try to explain

I was planning to not write forum any more but feel that for the benefit of the kinder and more reasonable members of forum, which I believe are few, I will try to explain. I believe majority here will not believe or understand this, but I will try anyway.

I speak Thai and mostly talk to Thai people, as they are the people I have contact with. Sometimes I feel like I would like to talk with people from west, but there are few around. I also like to talk about books, but Thai people do not generally read much at all.

For reasons which I cannot go into, and you can figure out maybe, I am very careful about internet communications and security. Therefore I try not to give out information on internet which would compromise my family and myself, or divulge information which I should not, so I figure anonymous book forum is safe. However, I came to believe, after writing to forum, that I had given out information which I should not have. Only way I figure to change this was to create new name with new information.

My life is probably different from anyone else on forum. People who worked in my field will understand what I am talking about. Perhaps some members of forum will have read things which will help them to understand.

This forum tells me why I left America. It is not the country it used to be. People can no longer disagree without hate. It is now a place in which people mouth off endlessly about freedom of speech, but try to crucify anyone who does not agree with them. They cry about freedom of religion, but despise anyone who believes in God. They cry about racism, but hate everyone who does not believe the same things they do. This is hypocrisy.

It will be the end of America and the west unless people learn to deal with each other without hate. I do not like CNN but if people wish to watch it, I mind my own business and basically could care less if anyone watches it or the whole world does.. Why do people feel compelled to preach endlessly about Fox news and insult everyone who watches that. If you do not like Fox news, you do not have to watch it. What is the mentality of those compelled to go on crusade about Fox news and how it is evil and everyone who watches it is evil and stupid. Then they whine about Christians, but do not have the balls, even in anonymous forum, to say one word about Islamists who are happily trying to kill them and their whole families. This is not only cowardly and hypocritical, it is stupid. As for myself, I am living basically in exile because I tried to make it possible for people on forum to write this drivel.

The world will be better place if everyone would live their own life, and basically mind their own f***ing business. If all one has to worry about is what somebody else watches on tv, I think they have it pretty good. However, many of us have more important things to worry about. I think the problem here is some people here may have read much, but they have lived little.

Why do people feel compelled to preach endlessly about Fox news and insult everyone who watches that. If you do not like Fox news, you do not have to watch it. What is the mentality of those compelled to go on crusade about Fox news and how it is evil and everyone who watches it is evil and stupid. Then they whine about Christians, but do not have the balls, even in anonymous forum, to say one word about Islamists who are happily trying to kill them and their whole families.

Thank you pontalba. Yes it is Glenn if it makes you happy. Picture of kid with guitar. Not surprising he does not understand. Put down guitar, turn off tv and internet and get a life. This is what I am trying to say here.

Yes ME guitar boy know nothing, watch out for fire..never train muay thai or muay laos in thai land at tiger gym, or fight at stadiums there. know nothing...i call foul.....
I just want to say the worst thing in my life was seen in thailand, when i went there to train in muay thai i met many great people,except the underworld at night was people on the side of roads betting on dogs, tosa inus(japanese mastiff) fighting , and theyd all laugh and bet. As far as I can remeber something so horrible and out right wronge i rarely see here in USA

In many years in Thailand, I have yet to see a dogfight in Thailand. I have seen dogs fighting, but not as a sport. I have seen black people holding dogfights in US.
If "worse thing I ever saw" was a dogfight, I would think I was very lucky. I have seen much much worse in Thailand and elsewhere, especially involving children. As much as I like dogs, you cannot compare these things.
What stadium did you fight at, by the way? Who was your kru, and where did you study "muay laos"?

Unfortunately or fortunately this is a public forum and when you make a comment or express an opinion (on anything) you are welcoming a variety of responses from a variety of different people who may have different views then yourself.

Life is too short. Smile and have fun.
 
Only if one has a morbid fascination for such discussions. It may get there by itself, anyway. :sad:

*golf clap* How very poignant. I just want to know how difficult it is to degrade your own English to try to convince us that you aren't able to write it fluently. You seem to drift back and forth from very fluent English to broken English and honestly, you're not fooling anyone.

Just America and the west? I don't think hate discriminates. In fact, I know it doesn't.

The world will be better place if everyone would live their own life, and basically mind their own f***ing business. If all one has to worry about is what somebody else watches on tv, I think they have it pretty good. However, many of us have more important things to worry about. I think the problem here is some people here may have read much, but they have lived little.

One of these days you'll understand that just because people post on an online forum that that doesn't mean they don't have important things to worry about. In fact, it's an infantile stance in which you put yourself upon a pedestal and look down on people for doing exactly what you're doing yourself. I mean, who else on here went through the trouble to create two identities and post as two separate people at the same time, in the same threads and then mock people for calling you out on it. It's pretty pathetic, dude. You don't know what anyone on this forum has to worry about and them posting on here certainly says nothing about their state of day-to-day worry. The world becoming a better place doesn't start nor does it end with people reading less or "living more", whatever that even means.

But then again, you're probably just laughing at this post because your intention is to get this exact response. Just in case you were being serious, I responded the way I did. But since we all know you're getting a big kick out of this, why don't you just drop the bullshit and have fun with everyone? No one gives a crap about what you do or what brought you to Thailand, assuming you're not in Billings, Montana of course.
 
I am very disappointed in forum, but not surprised. I wrote in pig English because disenthralled did, and i did not know if he was joking or really wrote that way. I figured people would figure this out, but apparently not. Very sad. I tried to explain about the fake names, but since people were confused by the bad English, it is not surprising some people could not understand this either. Anyway dude why do you call me dude? Should I call you chiangmaifalcon? Also dude, I think maybe the world will be a better place if people start "living more." Think about it. Just don't think too hard, as it could be harmful. As far as my spending my own time on internet, you are right about that, but unlike you I have little opportunity to go out and meet real Englsih speaking people. I was missing having conversations in English, and I thank forum because I now miss it a lot less.
You are also right dude that this forum is fun. I enjoy reading your comments. They brighten my day. Thai people have a saying that people are often unhappy because they "think too mutt." Fortunately that is not neccesary here.
You are also right this will all end predictably. Falcon will be banned for violating rule number 113.12 or something, while at the same time people here will be whining endlessly on forum about the evils of censorship. Go figure. But at least they can agree with each other as usual. Won't that be lovely?
Yes this is sarcasm, which apparently I must point out as people are confused about this.
Seriously, there are some mature, intelligent people on this forum, and I enjoy communicating with you also.
