What would you do if you win a lottery?

Last week, mega lottery in California, was something like 300 million dollars. The lottery is multi-state affair, and it seems one New Yorker took the prize.

Earlier I was reading on this forum, and one of the new members, Cwenmaria, had stated that she would get a small library built in her home. I have to agree this sounds wonderful. For me, if I win a lottery, I would buy some land and start an orchard with avocados and mangos, and have the small roomful of books to read in the evenings. What would you do if you win a lottery?

What on earth would you do with 300 million?? In (almost) any currency?

Uhm, I'd probably pay off my student loans, and buy a horse.

If I won the lottery I would....

Play video games, watch movies, read books, have sex with my girlfriend, and eat fancy food...

In a different state or country every few months!

And I would have a kickass library in my fortress home on top of a mountain or something. Above the timberline. Take THAT pollen.

I'm more of a Dr No than a The Spy Who Loved Me person. My own island would be the first order of business if I win an insane amount of money. OK, the second one after I change my trousers.

I would develop a time machine, go back in time, get 100 velociraptors, come back to today, attach lasers to their heads and set them on some people I don't like.

Actually, make that 200.

Names man, names!

I'd have to get over the initial shock of winning, which is no small thing considering I've never bought a lottery ticket and probably never will. For me to win would be pretty amazing. But I'd probably make some donations before I took my family on a trip around the world. Then when I got back, I'd hire myself a new stunt double to replace the absentee I have now.

I'm the one that won the lottery, 'member?

That reminds me that there is a place in Ukraine where you can drive a tank over a car. I am so going to do that. Need to see how much it is.

I would go around the world to meet people I've been sharing a forum with for years, and especially those with whom I've spoken to on an almost weekly basis for almost 2 freakin' years but have never met!

And buy them books they like. Along with the stash of Guy Gavriel Kays, of course.
