Osama bin Laden is dead!

it won't make a difference, he's just a figure head...Al qaida is complex and will continue on

While I rejoice that this terrorist is gone, I can't jump up and down with glee over the man's death. Did he deserve to die this way? Yes indeed.
 
It took a while but finally the job is done. The sad thing is there probably will eb a retaliation because they're so offended by this. As if America started this whole thing.The only thing i disliked is how people celebrated so much, they celebrated more than Germans did when the wall was demolished it seems. I understand that they're happy but to celebrate a mans death in the way it happened was rather shocking to me. I don't fault or hate anyone for it by any means, its completely understandable because quite frankly Osama really deserved it

Agreed. I'm glad he's gone but I don't get or understand the "it's a great day to be an American" thing. Oh well.

Maybe it's more of a celebration of the skill of the commandos who pulled off the raid.

The hijackers really got us good on 9/11. Hijacking the planes, crashing them into our buildings, and completely demolishing them and killing thousands.

So I don't think it's so much of a celebration of Osama's death, it's a celebration of comeuppance through a daring raid. You got us - we got you back.
 
I hope you can find the animated image of Obama stepping up to the Presedential podium, says, "He's dead!" and then exits stage left and kicks a door down on his way out.
