Wtf!

I was just going about my nightly walk around the neighborhood when a cop car drove up next to me and demanded I show him some identification. I did and he ran it through his dash computer. It was a clear of course then the scum pig told me to leave. WTF! I hate Miami. (It's a fucking jungle down here. A beautiful hell is what this town had become)

Talk about profiling. I am steaming. Now I feel like a victim.

Were you walking around carrying a hammer and muttering to yourself?

Seriously though, how were you profiled? Unless you were acting sketchy, why would a cop single you instead of any of the other suspicious acting non-white people in Miami? I'm surprised your record came up clean unless The Hammer Episode paperwork got lost.

If you don't feel Miami is your town anymore, you should move, brah. That reminds me, did your article in that paper ever get published?

Sounds like profiling. But, they could've been looking for someone with your description. Did you see any choppers flying about?

he only asked you for your I.D, it's hardly harassment. Here in the UK cars get pulled over for no reason, and people always get asked, especially at night time. You'd be surprised how many people get caught doing things they shouldn't be doing.

Sometimes good looking people get pulled over just to be checked out. Maybe the cop liked you or something?

Talk about profiling.

I doubt there was any profiling involved. One of your neighbors who is aware of your mental illness and violent outbursts may have called the police when they saw you out walking late at night.

Carlos,
They were probably looking for a guy that fit your description from some problem nearby, like a robbery. If you check the police logs, you may be able to figure out who the police were looking for. Don’t let that stop you from exercising. The sidewalks are public property, and you have a right to walk there anytime you want.

Yep. That's it. Right on.

lol what??

It's almost like people around here know Carlos personally. Is this true?

Wow...

I thought Carlos' sometimes erratic behaviour on the forums was just expert trolling, but then, maybe not...
