Boredom Attacks

Boredom attacks my brain like tiny sea-shells of metal to an ever so absorbant magnet.
There is no defense mechanism within so they leech on, sucking energy but leaving me awake.
When the energy is dry, they do not leave. They linger, waiting for me to refuel my supply so they may continue feeding.
But i won't.
Above me I can hear an angel singing my name.
I ignore her as well.
As much as i long to be with her at this hour, i cannot. I don't want to.
I know she's there forever, tempting me.
So I stay awake until the very end and press on until one wins.
Will it be the leeches?
or will it be the angel?

I guess i'll just wait for a response to find out...

An intriguing piece of writing that most certainly piques the readers interest. :)

Once again...just the spelling.

Thanks :)
and sometimes the computer I'm on doesn't have the spell check add-on. I'm too lazy to get a dictionary.

I think Fate is right that this is definitely as he/she says an intriguing piece of writing, and it had my interest too. However, I disagree with Fate about the spelling.

I strongly believe that in creative works spelling/grammar is not important. But I've said that before. Anyway, more and more writers are inventing new words and new spellings and doing whatever they want. Anyway, to each his own.
