Recently Purchased/Borrowed

I have begun to read Does the Noise in my Head Bother you which is a biography by Steven Tyler. I think it is a great book and definitely worth getting if you like Aerosmith or Rock music.

Hi Brk3: I think I've been reading Vince's book out of sequence as the last one I read was written quite a while ago. I just got another one from the library, American Assassin, and it's a 2010 book. His next one is due out in February of 2012. The date was put back as Mr. Flynn is not too well and is being treated for cancer. I hope he comes through it alright. He writes about indestructible heroes so I hope he can be one too. :sad:

yea I read somewhere that Flynn has prostrate cancer. I hope he pulls through it. I have only read the one book but enjoyed it quite a bit and he seems to have a big following. He also seems to be pretty young (by photo).
I think I saw where American Assassin is going to be made into a movie.

The last book was an accidental purchase. I now have to watch that movie and figure out what in the world it is that I purchased online.
 
Last weekend I went to Barnes & Noble and bought a few things: First, I renewed my membership for the awesome discounts and thus purchased The Dwarves by Mark Heitz, Eon by Alison Goodman, the entire Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer (I shifted from hardcover to paperback), City of Bones by Cassandra Clare, and Eragon's Guide to Alagaësia by Christopher Paolini. This week I will also pre-order Inheritance by Christopher Paolini.
Luckily, my mom paid for over half of this, so only about $55.00 ended up coming out of my pocket. (;

Yesterday I purchased Dear John again after losing my previous copy. This weekend I will most definitely invest into more books by Nicholas Sparks. I am in a sudden vibe to read romance and Nicholas Sparks seems to write pretty well thus far, despite this being the only book I have read of his.
 
I bought Brandon Sanderson's new book. The Alloy of Law (A Mistborn Novel)
But I still have to finish reading Hero of Ages.
