Pet Peeves

annoyingly contrary

I love the smell of rubber burning on asphalt, the sound of tires squealing, popping the bubbles from a well wrapped package, crickets chirping, and the sounds of tap dancing (I tapped when I was younger.)

It's nice to be able to buy a porsche. As a tuner, I would still have to fix the imperfections that the factory designs into them. Well, maybe not on a Carrera GT, but anything less would have to have get the treatment. It does annoy me when people mod their cars in ways that hurt performance due to stupidity.

On women and cleavage. If you are showing cleavage, expect looks - they go together. Dressed appropriately in a work environment and having someone stare at a part of your body is not acceptable. Had a boss that was a crotch starer. He also told me I looked good in periwinkle.

OK, done being contrary for the day.

On a side note, I lit my brake pads on fire the other day during some spirited driving. That is NOT a pleasant smell.

i have one peeve, but im surprise to be the first to tell about,

hate my touch pad when posting or writting in a web mail, damn go back funtion

other one: ladys who dont realize we stare in lust, just in order to rise their selfesteem ;) ungrateful buxom gals, should be sporked  :p

Wolf, looks are fines, stares are not.

mr_michael, if you're so concerned about our self-esteem, why not look us in the eye and show that you're really interested in what we're saying. We don't have much control over the size or shape of our breasts so staring at them doesn't do a heck of a lot for our esteem, but we do have much control over what we say and how we say it, and actually being listened to would give us a much greater boost than a leer.

Tsk - like you have anything to say.

Cheers, Martin

Okay, so you're 14 inches taller than I am -- I've still got claws, ya know. Be very very glad we have an ocean between us.

A typical woman, letting herself be stopped by something as trivial as an ocean.

Cheers, Martin

actually im a multisensorial, so i have no problem listening in complete attention while doing or looking something else, actually i listen with greater concentration while doing something else, thx to the snake mobile vg, i got the best scores in my graduated class ;)

To Ice,

As i wasnt here to defend myself earlier, i just thought i'd add the only reason i spend so much time staring at your breasts is because they're so nice!! :p

Plus, you generally come talk to me when im sitting down, and then expect me to crane my neck ALL the way up!! Honestly, so demanding these women!! :D

let me guess, you're at the computer. ;)

Ah, look at the controvery I started before heading off to work (and no internet access) for 8 hours. Glad you guys got everything sorted out :)

To continue this "gawking at women" discussion...

One of my pet peeves is this latest fashion trend of low-rise jeans. Sure, they show off your midriff and lower back, but they make your butt look flat! So there's all these women running around with no butts.

As far as staring is concerned, aren't men more "visual"? Women would be more inclined to read an erotic novel, but men would rather leaf through some porn or watch a video. Correct? So forgive me if I stare, it's just my nature. Actually, I tend to sneak a peek when I'm fairly sure nobody will see me, then look elsewhere.

sneaking a peek is different from staring. And its not a compliment to women. Just because its supposedly in your nature to stare, doesn't mean you have to do that. Humans control their impulses all the time, so I think staring can be controlled. Note: Looking and staring are two different things. And I don't think many people are offended by someone reading an erotic or romance novel, but most women are offended when a man has a conversation with their boobs.

And Martin, I don't think women are superior or better. We have our faults just as men do. I just don't understand why women are supposed to be responsible for controlling mens' impulses...I think men ought to take some responsibility themselves.

Stop wearing tight, low-cut tops.

If you show it, we'll watch.

Cheers, Martin
all my tops are tight cause i fill them out. either i wear real big shirts that fit my top but not my waist or tight ones that make me look good all around......
