Could you guys recommend some authors - who are specialized in putting all the minute details together bits and pieces and describe things or characters painstakingly? ; or - who are specialized in describing feminine traits in details, her delicacies, etc.

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking, but Nevada Barr does a nice job bringing Anna Pigeon to life.

If you can handle a really long book, I suggest The Brothers Karamazov because of its extensive exposure of the psychology of his characters. it's about 900 pages but I didn't want it to end
