H. G. Wells

H.G. Wells wrote two of my favorite sci-fi novels, The Time Machine and Island of Dr. Moreau, but he also wrote one of my least favorite books of all time, The War of the Worlds, and for this I never really explored anything else he had written. I think I am finally up to forgive him and try out another one of his books and so I am asking for recommendations.

Also, I know the three I read of his were early in his career, does anyone know how he was as a writter later on?

I have just read The Time Machine and loved it. Did you ever read any of the other Wells books? So you recommend Island of Dr. Moreau then?

If you liked The Time Machine you should read The Machine Stops by E.M. Forster.
