It's time to start thinking of new themes for our BOTM, so please leave your suggestions in this thread. Themes can be new or they can have already been done.

Leave as many suggestions as you like.

I like the apocalypse theme. Can we add zombies to that genre? ;)

Humour (Thinking Christopher Moore, David Sedaris)
Kitchen/Restauranteur stories
Paranormal
Travel

Milestones in 20th century history
Old stories re-told or continued (things like "Bridget Jones" as a modern version of "Pride and Prejudice)
Wartime novels

I'm liking your suggestions people, keep them coming!

You know, I was never into zombies until I saw the Warm Bodies trailer. Now I have it waiting on the kindle to be read soon. But maybe you were thinking more traditional/serious zombies?

Nope, not bound to traditional or serious zombie stuff. I'd do a reread of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, or the Survival Guide. I'm open to most anything there.

What about the Corean Chronicles by L.E. Modesitt? The are a fantasy/fiction series about people from another plant that travel magically from one plant to another whenever they have finished up it's life force. There is action and magic they really are good books. I would say a lit more about the plot but I don't want to say to much because I know some people don't like knowing to much about the books they are reading. It's a series of six books but I have to explain, the first three, Legacies, Darknesses and Scepters are one story with different characters to the last three, Alector's Choice, Cadmians Choice and Soarer's Choice which are past events that shaped the first story. But you kind of need to read them altogether to get some of the history.

Sorry guys, I totally forgot... I'm still reading Outlander! I'm loving it though.

I like the idea of a shortstory collection, less pressure for those still reading the February BOTM book (guilty!).

I'll set up a thread for suggestions.

I love the Corean Series, I only have the first three though...hmm, I have to get my butt into gear and get the others now.

Love short stories...only problem they're SHORT.:)
