I can't say exactly what I was doing 23 years ago today, but since it is September, I am sure I was trying to get two little girls to do their math, while making sure their little sisters didnt burn down the house or cut eachother's hair..and I'd probably gotten over the morning sickness with their unborn little brother. I'm not sure if this was before or after the baby powder/bodylotion bathroom bomb. I do know that by this date 23 years ago, I'd learned the safest way to mop a ceramic tile floor, so as to avoid the skating Fig Newton routines. Those were the days..
23 years later and it's still a great song. Not the best on the album but a great song nonetheless.
I was a senior in high school. Thanks for making me feel old, boss.

I think Violator is perhaps their greatest album. That being said, World in My Eyes wasn't the best song on that album -- I think that honor goes either to Personal Jesus or Enjoy the Silence.

23 years ago...I was 9 and had not yet discovered the majesty that is Dave Gahan.
(that was filmed in March of this year. Seriously, does the man bathe in childrens' tears or something? )
