Hi Everyone,

I just published my first novel inspired by numerous games, movies, and books. It is available on Amazon for Kindle for $0.99 or free for Amazon Prime members. Also available in paperback for $7.99 which was the cheapest I could make it. Please check it out.

BOOK DESCRIPTION:
The world as we know it was destroyed in a series of apocalyptic and cataclysmic events known respectively as the Collapse and the Aftermath. Civilization is broken and fragmented. Factions fight for supremacy in the remnants. Raiders, mutants, and worse plague the wasteland. The earth itself is mostly dead and ruined. This is the World After. To survive you must follow the Rules.

Five years after the end of the Aftermath, one man has been hired to retrieve a device in return for a payoff that will allow him to leave the wasteland and retire in luxury. But he is not the only one seeking the device. Powerful forces are rising across the wasteland to seize the device for themselves and change the course of history. He must battle his way across the wasteland and kill or evade the hordes of enemies in his way. Some also seek the device, but others just want blood. Can he survive the dangers of the World After and complete his mission?

This is an 87,000 word action/adventure novel in the style of the old pulp fiction novels. It is designed to be a fast and fun read, an escape from the daily grind.

I'm just curious. I see a number of people have viewed this post, but no one has bought the book. Any feedback as to why would be greatly appreciated. Don't worry you won't offend me. :)

for me ... it just isn't my cup of tea. I'm completely off apocalyptic anything at the moment
 
Good News! It did so well at $0.99 it is now permanently at $0.99. One review gave it five stars. The others gave it four.

Couldn't put it down, and the action was directed in a way that didn't get repetitive or boring. Kinda reminded me of the game fallout

I love post apocalyptic books but have a Nook - not a Kindle - so I won't get to read yours. This happens quite a bit. It is a shame. Good luck with your book sales.
 
You can also convert the formats with a free converter and a PC.

Thats only true if the author chooses to enable it. All major publishing houses do that, but most independents don't. I didn't. I know it works because my uncle has a Nook and he converted it.

You can also view on your pc for free with Kindle Cloud viewer. Technically all the Nook and Kindle books are just files. You can hook your Nook or Kindle to your computer and move them back and forth without a wifi for example.

Alternatively you could just manage your e-books the sensible way with Calibre (which will not convert DRM books).
