Suggestions for English books

I am looking for new books to read in English, my level should be B1/B2 (I think). I'm thinking about "Trainspotting" and "Someone flew over the cuckoo's nest". Are these suitable in your opinion? If you want to suggest me another books all advice welcome! :)

How about Watership Down? It's a very engaging story and the reading level should be appropriate for you. It can be read as a simple story about rabbits or analyzed more deeply.

Or maybe The Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins?

Watership down seems interesting! Thanks! :D

Considering the B1/B2 requirement, something considered YA might be appropriate.

I prefer fiction books.

Off the top of my head:

Catcher in the Rye by J. D. Salinger
Stardust by Neil Gaiman

I have a friend who is B2 in English and I gave her a copy of On The Road by Jack Kerouac and she was able to read it with little difficulty.
