I do hope I ain't the only one for this, but for me in both reading and writing, well I gotta listen to music.

What music you ask? Either Technical, Brutal or Melodic Death Metal or Black to Symphonic Black Metal! Lately a lot of CARACH ANGREN, helps me read and write.

So who else lets loose the hounds of war here with heavy and brutal metal music? Have no fear my brethren and RISE!

Do you mean you listen whilst reading?
I have always found this impossible for me. I either cannot remember the book afterwards or have not heard the music.
I have some heavy stuff, message me for a discussion if you are interested, please.

I do not only listen, I write as well, for me I focus well on both things, as in what I am reading and listening to and the same when I am listening to music and writing, true Its not on full volume but it beats being in silence. Silence makes me nervous

Do you make the water turn black?

Nah sorry that quote did not hit me :D

"Let's Make The Water Turn Black" tells the true story of brothers Ronald and Kenneth Williams (referred to as "Ronnie" and "Kenny" respectively), neighbors of the song's composer Frank Zappa during his youth in Palmdale, California in 1962.
"Let's Make The Water Turn Black" is a patter song which first appeared on the 1968 Mothers of Invention album We're Only in It for the Money and later on the 1995 compilation album Strictly Commercial.

Thanks for the History Lesson hehe interesting

Right in that case I don't understand the analogy.
One has the same tempo done by an obviously synthetic rythm section.
The other; does not.

Apparently I wasn't clear. All EDM sounds the same to me so the fifteen different genres of EDM mean nothing to me. Ditto for Black metal and all of its sub-genres.

Even a deaf person can differentiate between metal and EDM.

Do you mean by the vibrations? (A deaf person 'feeling' the difference)
