Has Anyone Read This Book?

It's called, "Dark Walls: The Arrival." It's a little unknown book I found on Amazon that is truly awesome.

I don't think the second book is out yet. But now I have to read it to find out what happens next. LOL

Meh, for a dollar I will read it just so you aren't off by yourself. I needed a time filler for this week's dance competition anyway.

Will talk to you about it Monday if nothing else gets in the way.

It's about this girl who dies in a fire and doesn't realize she is dead, until she meets another ghost (a girl her age), who warns her that if they don't get in from the outside, they will be captured or killed by this evil spirit named, Mr. Murphy. I don't want to give away too much of it. It's a pretty cool adventure/paranormal story if you like that genre. Simple plot, but lots of cool surprises and it even has some comedy thrown in...lol

Okay, I read it and simple does not begin to describe the plot. I think the idea is a good one, but the execution is sorely lacking.

There was imagination enough there for a decent young adult series and the sort of thing I think my daughter would like. I hope the writer refines it, a lot, before the sequel.

I think the author's idea here was to keep the plot simple based on the target audience.

Hey, Dwan... I just purchased this book on my Galaxy Note 3 and will be settling in to read it. I will let you know what I think when I'm finished.

I finished it just now. Thanks for mentioning this book. I liked it. Yes, it has a basic plot. But there are many amazing books with basic plots that focus mainly on character development, which I found this book to be thriving in. You actually care for the characters, and then the author unleashes the monsters on them. I let my fourteen-year-old daughter read it on my Galaxy Tablet and she finished it in 3 days. She told me there better be a second book because she can't be left hanging like that! LOL. Thanks again. Now I'm off to read Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters.

I don't want to rain on anyone's parade but Dwan and soupdragon share the same IP. This leads me to suspect that at least one of them is the author. Self-promotion outside the self-promotion area is a no-no.

It didn't seem like self promotion, but even still I think I'll check it out, just to support a fellow author. Besides I love paranormal!
