Atlas shrugged

How hard is atlas shrugged to read? I've read war and peace by Leo Tolstoy and the Dante's Inferno as well as many other classics.

I'd hardly call Atlas Shrugged a classic but if you were able to read War and Peace and Dante's Inferno, you can definitely read Atlas Shrugged.

Oh yeah, not difficult at all. It's simply written and straight forward when it comes to worldview.

Atlas Shrugged is relatively speaking easy to read , you have to be willing to put up with Rands nihilistic stance. Some research on Rand herself will highlight that stance and exactly the depth of her personal hypocrisies.

DON'T DO IT!

I never read Atlas Shrugged, but I did read The Fountain Head, and it completely screwed with my overall philosophy about life and career. Her philosophies do not ring true with my own, the are the opposite side of the coin. I'm open to hearing her ideas, but I exercise my right to disagree with her ideas.

Watch the below Ayn Rand interview by Mike Wallace to get an idea of Ayn's philosophies.
