Hello there! My name is Stephanie, and I'm a single mother of two trying to make it as an indie author. I've released (and later re-released because I didn't like the original) my first novel entitled, Disconsolate. It's the story of a 22 year old named Brooke trying to overcome her depression in the face of her attempted suicide. Meeting Matt, who is newly single, fuels this fire. However, when his ex girlfriend Crystal decides she's unhappy seeing Matt has started to focus his attention on Brooke, she begins pushing Brooke's buttons and hitting her weaknesses. This book discusses difficult topics including depression, anxiety, suicide, and bullying.
I'm also working on an Irish love novel, and a military love novel. I have other ideas up my sleeve, of course, but for now those are the ones my focus is on. I do, eventually, have plans for a thriller/horror novel... but that one is going to take a LOT of time, as it's so scary that I can only write it in small doses!
