who here has read the walking dead comics?. I love the comics, personally more so than the tv show. But I still watch the tv show, but finding my self comparing them to each other.I can never find anyone who's willing to join in on the conversation and talk about the comic.

Not one nibble huh?

If there were novels I would give them a try jb.
I stopped reading comics when I was ten however.

They made novels of this particular series. I have not picked one up. I posted this on the comic book selection for the people who still read comics,I guess this one isn't too much of a concern or interest to anyone. Especially the ones who are fans on DC and MARVEL. I wanted to compare and debate the difference between the tv show and comics. What I've learned from my progress is that no one cares. And I'm going to give up.. but thanks for replying. You've been the first one out of 50 some views.

I will seek out the novel and let you know if I have any success. I will follow you too. The site has a lot of members who only read infrequently, but I read all the time and will always answer interesting threads. I would be happy to compare the novels to the TV series once I've read the first one.

Would like to join in but have not read the comic or seen the series. :(

That's usual for me as well. The original comic or book is generally better than the television or film version.

Could you tell us a little about this comic, the artist/author names. I'm going to assume the Walking Dead are zombies or are they?

The author and creator (and I'm sure the producer for the show) is Robert kirkman .. his artist was Tommy Moore but I believe he was replaced by someone else. He only did two of the first volumes. I don't know how many issues that would be.. the walking dead preference refers to the survives living on borrowed time. Not so much on the zombies

I read the walking dead comics. I am up to issue 55 of the comics.
Feel free to discuss with me on anything between issue 1 to issue 55.
No spoiler beyond that as I am still reading the series.

Awwwe man finally found a walking dead comic champ Lmao. I'm on 22. I need to catch up. I have both compendiums and downloaded several copies on my kindle. But Amazon took down TWD series, so I'm stuck going to Barnes and noble to read them on the floor.

Haha maybe it's for the best. I'm in love with the comics, tv show has became a time filler for me. I'm not as enthused as I once was. The only person I talk to about TWD only watches the tv show religiously, so when I compare and contrast between both comic and show,I only get their opinion on show. And they don't want or care about what's going on in comic. So it's a total bust.

Have you read the novels?

No I have not read them. I don't know if I want to. Call is a little badass. I do like Andrea so far. Idk, it changes time to time. But Jesus, Carl, Rick are my favorite. I'm glad Maggie is gone.

I need to catch up

Hello, I read ten years of TWD in six months. The comic or rather graphic novel was very good. It had good writing with good developing characterization and never felt contrived, but Zi finally tired of reading the series, so I am going to see if I can download the volumes, and see if anyone would like to read them.
