Moving a Library

Hey Guys!
As book lovers, I was hoping ya'll have some advice. I'm moving a library of 3,500 books across the country. We have professionals movers to help load the truck, and I'm only using small boxes, 12 x 12 x 12, 16 x 14 x 10, 18 x 12 x 10, Different small sizes so they don't get heavy and they fit my oversized books. But I'm trying to guesstimate the number of boxes it would need. If anybody has any helpful advice, it would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi,
A friend of mine moved about 2000 books, I helped him to package . He did use 90 small boxes, that is, 45 boxes for each 1000 books ( it's a rough number) . The reason was that some books were wrapped with bubbles wrap, placed on stand up straight - like on a shelf- and these took up too much space in the box but my friend had a sentimental value regarding some of his old hardcover books and he refused to add packing paper ( as protection ) in the bottom of some boxes .
