Hmmm. Very difficult. I don't have a favourite movie, just movies that mean something to me, because they have some nice memories attached to it; and they're pretty good as well :)

The Three Musketeers
Hedwig and the Angry Inch
Monty Python (Meaning of Life, The Holy Grail -- I didn't care for The Life of Brian all that much)
The Anniversary Party (you're right Stephen, Alan Cummings is good)
Disney movies (although the last few have been disappointments)
Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain

I'll think of more.

I'll have to checkout The Anniversary Party, I've never heard of it before :( . Whats it about it you don't mind me asking.

I like the Disney movies also, especially the ones done by Pixar ( I think they are partners, not sure :) ), the 2 Toy Story Films and Monsters Inc where great, and can't wait to see Finding Nemo.

Off the top of my head, I'd have to say:
Bladerunner (Rutger Hauer has never been scarier)
Indiana Jones (especially 1 and 3)
Apocalypse Now
The Big Liebowski
Raising Arizona

After the top 4, it can vary with my mood and what I've seen lately...

Blazing Saddles
The Music Man
LA Confidential
Ed Wood
The Maltese Falcon
Minority Report

The Shawshank Redemption
The Usual Suspects
Gone With the Wind
Lawrence of Arabia
Memento
Aliens
Seven
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
The Godfather Trilogy
Das Boot
Fargo
Jaws
The Princess Bride
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
Apollo 13
A Fish Called Wanda
Glory
The Joy Luck Club

I could go on and on, but I'll stop for now. So many movies to chose from .... :D

ps. Stephen, my sons want to tell you they think you have great taste in movies! The only movies they didn't agree with on your list was Purple Rain and The Lost Boys.

The problem with movies like The Usual Suspects and (the one with Michael Douglas and Sean Penn, what's it called? Oh yes) The Game, is that after you've seen it, it's just not as much fun to watch it again, because of the surprise element not being there anymore.
