What should I read next?

I've really enjoyed reading the works of John Marsden the last couple of years but alas, there aren't many more books he's written that I haven't read!

Does anyone out there know of any authors whom a John Marsden-loving teenager would enjoy?

I like contemporary books, particularly ones that aren't about schools because that's boring for me as a home-schooler although books that take place in boarding schools are OK...

A good author can make a great story out of any plot, I guess. So do you have any ideas about what I should read? Tell me if you do!!!
