Only in America... :-D

Horay! I beat you to it! Give me a prize!

They don't sell "a sense of humour" on Ebay? How about "a sense of proportion" So people get offended by third world poverty child labour instead of light hearted banter or rude words? Alas, I don't think they sell that either.

I do have a sense of humor. I thought it was funny. I just didn't think the title of the thread was funny. Besides... people all over the world buy that stuff for their pets, not just Americans. It's on the internet isn't it?

GOSH! Those crazy Americans! :D

Disclaimer: The above posting is a joke. No animals or Americans were harmed during this post. Please do not attempt this post at home. Do not insert up rectum.

Hey bobby, step back, I wanna piece of the wabby too . . . oooh, got him by the ear now . . . ooooof . . . take that rodent. Where's John Wayne when you need him?

all right all right, it's my cue to step in and make peace amongst the nations. oh wait sorry won't make it, yet another canadian helicopter has had to make an emergency landing. damn those sea kings.

Who let that bloody Canadian out of the igloo? Oooh look, she's dribbling maple syrup down her hockey shirt!

Maybe Only In California would have been a better title.

I don't know gang, every country's got its weirdo's. But, they probably think that folks who don't have pets and don't treat them like beloved children are strange too.

There are certain countries that seem to have more than their fair share of weirdos. America is one of them! The UK is also one of them! We are even famous for the "British eccentric" which is a nice name for total nut case :D Japan also seems to have more than it's fair share of nutters! But yeah, weirdos and loony people is something every country has in common!

So who actually defines what is eccentric in jolly old England? If its the same folks as over here then its whoever's in the clique saying whoever's not is freaky.

Look at that eccentric bastard over there. He's not even logged onto The Book Forum! :D

If you or anybody else is offended by that then you have a problem. I hate all that PC crap :p

And no, I don't care if anybody posts about the UK. Firstly, it's a lump of dirt. Secondly, I have what is called "a sense of humour" Have a look on ebay for one!

I for one was highly offended. Highly, highly...

OK. No. I thought it was funny. If I could move to Canada, the UK, or any other country that might possibly take me I would..and I'd be taking my halloween costume wearing dog with me!

Come here with me! We'll get all the expats together and we'll make a ruckus, scaring everyone in the vicinity "They're going to take us over, those, those SEPPOS!"

Seppo = septic tank
Septic tank = rhyming slang for yank, hence, Americans are called seppos.

Come here with me!

I'd love to. The past two elections I've threatened to move to Canada and live with the Quebeqois cousins. It'll never happen though. First I was in college and it was a bad time to leave. Now, I'm house poor and it's a bad time to leave. I'll be here forever.

no come to nova scotia, the crime rate is low but so is employment. in just a few short years you could be a bluenoser. and truthfully, your master in chief can be a bit scary, no one is funnier than our prime ministers, and we mock with great gusto. come to canada, the snow is almost gone!!!!

Hah, I've got tons of family in Nova Scotia, they cant leave the house for about three months every year because the snow drifts are about ten foot high :)

Sounds great actually!! :D
