Be it resolved

So if all three of you owned a book store, you would have no problem paying your employees to basically sit in an empty store for 12 hours or more doing nothing, because there would be no customers. You will pay the increased costs of keeping the store open when no books are being sold. Like extra security to protect the stores contents and employees thanks to the fact that thieves will now find the establishment a much better target at 2:30 in the morning.

Somehow I think if you were the store owner you would see things in a different light.

But I'm sure you're just talking about life in a perfect world huh, where no money is needed and we all love each other all the time?

Yes. And while I'm at it, why can't we have a perfect world where I would live in this fourth-floor walkup and books would have no weight?

And you still wonder why you don't get invited to the cool parties.

Cheers

While we're in this perfect world, let bookstores and libraries be open 24 hours and let all cheesecake be calorie-free.

I'd be there. I order these books at the bookstore and they come in three days later. Then, they sit there for two weeks because I'm in bed when they open and by the time I'm up, dressed and ready to go they are closed (obviously this is not Barnes & Noble). It sucks. Book shopping at night would be great.

Some bookstores are open 24 hours - online. :D You don't get the book as fast but you don't get all worn out from shopping either.
