    I can't stand Dr Seuss or Robert Munsch. I couldn't tell you why, other than that their poetry makes me want to rip my ears off.

    I totally agree that most people hate reading because it's not instant gratification in the same sense television is, but also because they associate it with work instead of pleasure. Kids are forced to read and dissect books in school, and that doesn't usually result in a love for the written...

    Are there any Doctor Who fans? Has anyone read any of the Doctor Who novels? I'd like to start reading them, but there's so many and in no apparent order that it's a little overwhelming. Can anyone recommend a good one to start off with?

    1. Swiss army knife, a lighter and a jar of coconut oil (surprisingly useful stuff...) 2. I would choose the Doctor to accompany me, preferably in his tenth incarnation. 3. The plan is to stick close to the Doctor. He'll save the day. And if he doesn't, well at least he's easy on the eyes!

    I think doing both is a good idea. Like Readsalot said, promoting the book is the hardest part and amazon won't allow you to do that in the same way a private website will.
