Does anyone else do these? Sort of a freewriting associative exercise, just to see what comes out . . . here are two, based on random strings of letters (for poetry aficionados, I think John Ashbery does something similar in his work):
Experimentals
#1
Bring my little dinner slut to me...
I'm sure there is no taboo against writing and publishing any kind of book you like, but there is always the potential to offend someone.
A "fiction"' about kids building bombs for installation in school lockers might be a good start.
Or you could rewrite the Christian story . . . Mary wasn't...

Now the Sun
Now the sun, the waking world
the warming ground, the leaves unfurled
the greening grass, the muddy drive
the crocus shoots, the tree frogs' jive.

First, you look for a key process word in the clue. For instance, mixed up or jumbled or new order means the answer is probably an anagram of something in the clue. Second, all the information you need to...
A couple of my favorites:
The Fallen Idol: I loved the way it's obliquely filmed and how the characters are built from from the child's eyes.
Great Expectations (1934 version): simply the most terrifying, visually arresting movie I can remember seeing as a kid. Plus who can get enough of...
I'm going to say Bricklane, but I'm not sure you've closed the clue properly. Still, good try. And I do want to know the anwer. (BTW, BANNED was correct!)
