I had coffee, then nibbled on a chunk of cheddar cheese and made a salad. I was trying to eat some things that were soon to be destined for the garbage. The cheese was a small chunk that had mold on one side, so I cut that off and ate it (not the mold). The salad looked like it was thinking...
... at least, not that I know of. With money being kind of tight at the moment, I can't see spending the money on books when I can get them at the library. Can't see asking anyone else to spend their money on books for me either. :D
Not much of a sports fan, and I don't participate in any. Though I sometimes bowl (If you can call that a sport).
I like watching some of the seldom seen (in the U.S.) sports such as curling, candlepin bowling, rugby, and soccer/football. I don't know why soccer/football isn't bigger in the...
I enjoyed both Blackadder and Red Dwarf when I used to watch them several years ago. Haven't happened to have seen them recently.
How about "One Foot in the Grave", which is about some old guy who has the worst luck? Well, I thought it was funny.
We see a lot of Red Green here in...
I can read in a moving vehicle, but sometimes I get a little nauseous. So when that happens, I just stare out the window for a bit. That's supposed to help your mind get a frame of reference for the motions of the juices in your inner ear. I believe the same thing goes for seasickness. If you...
have you ever found a bug in your food or drink? No

do you perfer being satisfied sexaully or by food? Food I have to say "food" since I do that three or more times a day and the other less often.

If I had done anything, I probably would have scraped the carcass off of the road and lobbed it into a field as food for the local birds of prey. Though perhaps the only ones who would have partaken of the feast would have been the crows and other consumers of carrion.
I should carry a small...
Just finished Asimov's Caliban by Roger MacBride Allen. It turned out to be pretty good once it got going. At one point, I was nearly ready to give up on the entire Foundation/Empire/Robots/Caliban series, but now I actually want to read the next book. Caliban is a robot built without the...
I hate to say it, but if I hit a squirrel on the road, I might feel bad, but I'd keep on driving. Actually, I did hit one once, and saw it tumbling along the road in my rear-view mirror. I felt like crap, but there was no way I was going to stop and fish it out of the middle of the road...
I remember the Paddington stop-motion animation with the black and white background. Seems like there may have been a traditionally animated version too. I think I only had one Paddington book. Good stuff!
You've probably heard this one before...
Caution: contains penguin.
A vacationing penguin is driving through Arizona when he notices the oil-pressure light is on. He gets out to look and sees oil dripping out of the motor. He drives to the nearest town and stops at the first gas station he...
Budgerigar
Someone needs to make clothing for budgies. They have the cutest little eyes. They're almost human!
This one almost looks ticked!
Actually, seems like they all look ticked. To hell with the penguins! I think it's the budgies that we need to watch out for!
