You know I can't respond to this as a piece of work, only on a personal level. So I've replied privately.
That kind of honesty take guts, Mr. O. Very glad you stopped wearing blue. Very glad you started eating again. Very, very glad you stayed around long enough to meet up with a Blonde...
Just finished two books: "Madame Bovary" and "A Quiet Life."
Madame Bovary was people by so many unattractive characters that I found myself just waiting for the inevitable tragic conclusion, which wasn't horribly tragic becase Mrs. Bovary was such an unpleasant heroine. Still the humor was...
What I wish I was eating right now --
A tomato & mozzarella salad from the Pizza Express on Wardour St. in Soho. :)
What I had for lunch today --
A Diet Coke from the Rubio's on Foothill Boulevard in Rancho Cucamonga. :)
Life never seems to live up to my expectations. :)

That's because I do tend to quote Rocky Horror in everyday life, sometimes without even realizing it, sometimes outloud without meaning to. :)

Olive oil doesn't go well with spandex -- you'll never get the stains out.
And how did my erotic fantasies become the stuff of discussion here? Have you people no imagination of your own? Get your own olive oil!
On the other hand -- for a meager fee of say $50, I'll write you up the one...
The pretty pictures come with no effort on my part. Bits of my brain slip away and make pictures while the rest of me sits in a chair under a blanket. Mostly they have been memories of a past I never had. Lovely colors and vivid details and then I am in my chair again. I keep thinking I'll...
I value the efforts. Makes it difficult to tell whether or not I've stopped halluncinating, but I may take that up as a hobbie now anyway, so please continue.

And I thought this place would go to hell in my absence.
Nice to see you boys have kept the level of conversation so high-tone during my illness. :)

Sorry, this bronchitis is kicking my ass, so I was sofa-bound last night. But here quickly is the dream:
I was wandering a sort of post-apocalyptic landscape, a wasteland of ruined buildings, burnt-out cars, piles of garbage and debris. It was late in the day and I was looking for shelter...
My chum in Nottingham reports it's quite cold ("bloody freezing!") and even Mr. O. way down in London says its getting to be long underwear season, so bundle up.
And like, cajunmama, I, too, am so jealous I could tear my hair out. Even soggy and dark by 4 p.m., for a chance to see friends...
I think it's marvelous. I'm so glad I got to read it before it got deleted! :)
You do a fine job with the surrealism, but also with the emotions, and the little details that show the emotions so well that don't need further explanation.
It reminds me of a dream I had once, which is too...
Thank you for clarifying. Don't know if I want to devote the time to another series. So many books to read and so little time, but it's an interesting thought to wonder where the saga goes next.

It sounds like my recipe for Major Marvy Meatballs is too late for the "Gravity's Rainbow Cookbook." Maybe I can submit it for a revised edition? :)
Thanks for the well-timed reminder, Mr. E.

You know, my daughter and I had both broke into the leftover Halloween chocolate during that film. I think we are making progress!
Hmmmm...

But do any of them make you want to sing about chocolate?
This whole thing is making me crave Godiva's and a trip to novella's grocery store!

I have been slightly under the weather and working long hours, but I did update my little unfinished piece in the writer's showcase, so I haven't been completely absent.
And yes, our very own Mr. Burns, has his own distinctive cool unmatched by any garden-variety cool.
Thanks for the good...
