Yah, i find if i need to get a "older" book, there's no alternative but online, since I don't like second hand :p

I hate in novels where alot of people die, and some miracle brings them back. It just ruins the story for me.

I used to read alot of Cornelia Funke (In Italian). She was a prettu awesome writer, put besides that fact I had to learn Italian to read her books. (Which i was planning on learning ayways in High School)

You need to remember though, even big book stores don't ahve everything. I had to fly to Calgary (I was there anyway) until i found a copy of Garth Nix's "Sabriel"

Yah, I tend to just read till I'm tired so I'm usually part way through the Chapter. If you wait like a week before you pick uop the novel again, an dyou just finished a chapter, most likely you'll have to read some of it again at the least. Its real easy to lose track of the ideas in a book...
