 Alright, I admit to never reading a thriller/mystery/crime. You've talked me into this one. Anyone who sounds that enthsiastic has me hooked.
Yeah I have this really awesome pair which have flames on the side. :) They matched my high tops with flames until they wore out. They're still sitting by my door because I can't bear to throw them away. ::sniff:: :o
And no, I don't have a motorcycle, why do you ask?:rolleyes...
I was just wondering what everyone's thoughts were on this. Myself, I am totally obcessed with having my books in perfect condition. When I buy a new book I look through all the copies the store has to make sure I get the best one. And I hate to loan my books to people for I fear that they'll...
I recently rewatched The Village (which was great). I don't watch scary movies very often, so it scared the crap out of me  I also saw Howl's Moving Castle by the same director who did Spirited Away which I thought was a great movie. I was dissapointed with this one though and thought...
I'm probably wrong, but it sounds like the Magic Tree House books I read when I was younger buy Mary Pope Osborne. The first book was Dinosaurs Before Dark and the next was The Knight at Dawn. Hope this is right...if not, good luck finding your book.
For my favorite book in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, I'd have to say it's probably the first one, The Fellowship of the Ring. But for the movies, Return of the King is probably my favorite. I adore them all though :)
He is one of the wandering folk — Rangers we call them. He seldom talks: not but what he can tell a rare tale when he has the mind. He disappears for a month, or a year, and then he pops up again. He was in and out pretty often last spring; but I haven't seen him about lately. What his right...
I would second Sunshine by Robin McKinley. It's a good read and very enjoyable.
((I couldn't get into Interview with the Vampire either. It just didn't interest me at all. And it got pretty repetitive. ))
I'm going to see if this works...I didn't submit the pictures in the correct order, but oh well. There's a picture of my whole bookshelf last. As you can see, most of my books are fantasy :) Sorry it's so dark
:o Alright, I feel stupid for replying to my own post but I remembered the title It's A Time for Dancing by Davida Wills Hurwin. And, it's been made into a movie...I never knew that.
I think that books are more interesting if they have many characters. It gives the reader many characters to relate with, and more chances to find one they really like. It makes the story, as a whole, more real. Plus, with books, you can always go back and check out passages you may have missed...
Cool. I'm glad you thought The Queen's Fool was good, seeing as I'll probably read that one next.
Ah, books like that are really annoying where you spend half of the book getting into it...and then it turns out to be bad
I was in 8th grade when I read this book about a girl with cancer. It had something with "Dance" in the title because the main character was a dancer and I know it was a young adult book. It was about this girl and her best friend as one of the girls deals with cancer. It was such a powerful...
I really want to read Howl's Moving Castle. I read the first chapter while in Borders and had to put it back because of my empty wallet. But if I can find it in the library...
I saw the film and was very dissapointed. It was nothing compared to Spirited Away, done by the same director. And it...
1. Sword of Truth by Terry Goodkind
I agree with Anamesis that his writing may not be great but they are still quite enjoyable.
2. A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin
Only the best fantasy saga since Lord of the Rings...;)
3. His Dark Materials
Very fun reads with...
