Yes, it makes life so much more pleasant! Much more pleasant than when dealing with my own mother, unfortuantely. I love her to death, but sometimes she can be quite a pain.
Gracie likes Strongbad Sings, Emmie seems to prefer country
Livingroom: sewing my mother did of a P Buckley Moss painting, a print of Persistance of Memory by Dali, a picture of Burrus Hall at Virginia Tech (my alma mater), and two drawings that I did of birds.
Bedroom: Five posters of great...
how do you live? - In a fairly large apartment until I finish grad school and we can save up $ for a house.
like with whom do you live together - My husband, two cats, and a lot of fish.

I definitely like the American one better....good thing that's the one I'll be getting.
I think he might have gotten into Advanced Potions...that is, if he is truly following his path to be an Auror. And Dumbledore has stopped Snape from failing Harry before...so if Harry managed to...
I only lend and borrow with my father. For one, my tastes aren't all that similar to my friends, and two, I don't want to lose my books or get them back after they've been messed up.
I've read a good deal of the Star Wars novels...I'd recommend Shadows of the Empire, as well, I thought it was one of the best SW novels. I also enjoyed Crispin's Han Solo trilogy, which was recommended by Slacker. Personally, I enjoyed the "Tales from..." series, but mostly just for some...
Elizabeth Bennet (Pride & Prej.)
Lessa (Dragonriders series: Dragonflight, etc)
Sherlock Holmes (The Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Holmes)
Lord Peter Wimsey (From Dorothy L. Sayers' mysteries)
Lord Vetinari (From Discworld)
Death, Death of Rats, & Albert (From Discworld)
I do have a TV, but mostly just use it for my workouts. I hate having it around when my husband gets home, though, b/c the first thing he does is turn the stupid thing on. This usually causes me to leave the room, because I'd much rather be reading. When I'm at home by myself, I usually just...
Pencillin, as are all antibiotics, overprescribed, but that does not mean they are not necessary for some things. Slacker is right that many people stop taking them too soon, which, in part, also leads to antibiotic-resistance. The other part is prescribing the drugs when they're not needed...
Maybe all the comments about how hot he was as Legolas went to his head and he just thinks to himself "Hey, I'm beautiful. Look at me." Kind of like how my cat, Gracie, acts when I get the camera out (she got way too many compliments from everyone when she was a kitten and she's quite vain now ;))
I think, in part, the controvery helped HP gain wider attention and thus, gained more readers. I also think the setting of a boarding school helps fuel the popularity, because this is something to which almost all of us can relate. And magic seems to be a fairly popular topic.
And being a...
I think they will get together, though I'm not sure why they'll necessarily discuss the topic of muggle-born versus purebloods in that context. It seems that the fact that voldemort and harry are not pure-bloods would raise that issue itself. Hence, the Half Blood Prince.
