23 years ago...I was 9 and had not yet discovered the majesty that is Dave Gahan.
(that was filmed in March of this year. Seriously, does the man bathe in childrens' tears or something? o_O)
The stories about his childhood just kill me! I loved Me Talk Pretty, Corduroy and Denim and When You Are Engulfed In Flames. Wasn't crazy about Holidays on Ice, except for the story about working as a Santa's helper :rofl
Sea of Tranquility by Katja Millay - was really into the beginning, it loses momentum halfway and kind of becomes a typical YA romance. I'm interested to see what Millay does next though :star3:
Same here, and I'm a maniac for secondhand bookstores too. I think the most I spent for a single book was $30 on Mad's Greatest Artists: Sergio Aragones. That was one I couldn't resist.
Oblivion - wasn't expecting much (Tom Cruise & something sciency? meh) but it was a lot of fun, and gorgeous to look at. :star4:
Mud - really good performances but I feel this one was kind of overhyped. :star3:
