    A Plea for Identification Help from a Befuddled Librarian

    There's one called Deadlock by Sean Black, it involves an ex-military man going undercover in a prison but I don't know if the rest of the details match up because I gave up reading it after a few pages.

    I can handle all the mutton and whatnot, but think I'd be too chicken to try the horse. Did you like it? Koumiss at first few sips is unfortunate in taste but it improves the more you drink it. Kumyran, has never appealed because camels are stinky!

    Ah, still, there's not nearly enough literature out there about Kazakhstan so it is all welcome. My grandfather is Kazakhstani and if his stories are anything to go by then it is a fascinating place, you are in for a unique experience.

    The Descendants. Musical score is excellent, Gabby Pahinui has this odd effect wherein he makes hips sway and brains relax and turn off at the same time. George Clooney makes for easy watching, the fusion between the sadness of the subject matter and the awful awful sunny brightness of Hawaii...
