Good books both, but I need something to read aloud in a single sitting. Cliff notes version of Moby Dick perhaps :)
Last year I did Humphrey's First Christmas.
My family has a holiday habit of reading picture books on Christmas eve to the various small kids that are visiting. I'm looking for some recommendations... Anyone have a favorite or seen a new one that would be excellent?
I have a an old bookmark that I love. It's leather and not really thin enough to be a good book mark but it's a tactical tease and so I keep it.
What do you use to keep your place?
Hmmm. It's understandable that he would be reluctant to use a dictionary after all, literacy might lead to something much more dangerous.
Reasons to eschew dictionaries:
can be heavy - risk of back injury (foot injury if dropped)
can be confusing - soooo many words
can lead to relationship...
