What Did You Read in August

The Zombie Survival Guide-Max Brooks 3/5 Fearless Fourteen-Janet Evanovich 4/5 Twilight-Stephenie Meyer 3/5 The Purpose Driven Life-Rick Warren 2/5 The only reason I gave this last one a 2 is because I dislike the author's writing style. Otherwise it is a very good instructional book.

I am sorry to hear that, but what a blessing that you have a hobby that does not necessarily require driving. You are also a blessing to others on this website. Your posts are pretty entertaining! I can imagine if I were homebound I would have a stack of books by me all the time. TV is really...

I wish someone who knows would reply to this. I am interested to know. The best I can do is to skim and some people think that's cheating.

    Your Personal Library

I cataloged all my books in Librarything last weekend and found I have 184. I wondered where all my other books went then remembered selling them in a yard sale last year. I wish I hadn't done that.

    A Bestseller You Hated

She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb was torture. I wasted a whole weekend on that one. I'm reading Twilight right now. I can't say I don't like it. In fact, I think I kind of do really like it. Does that make me weird?

do you keep track of the books you read?

Book of books you've read? I have a journal type book (that originally had blank pages) that I have written down every book I can recall reading. I think I started it right after high school. I have recently bought my 17 year old son one and he has started writing down his books. I write the...

Suggest just one book to read.

Coming Home - Rosamunde Pilcher Wonderful book. Although I hate the term "coming of age" that is what this book is a tale of. It's one of those books where you get in there and live with the characters. I lived with these for about two months in the winter of 2001 drinking hot tea and eating...
