Eyez, I find a lot of your threads to be very interesting, but I think you need to be a bit more careful how you word things sometimes. That was an issue with a few of your threads, but I admit the majority of them were really good ideas. And for me, the greater issue is the plagiarism one...
I don't know...I haven't heard it in a long time. Maybe it's already dead, or in another part of the house.
I'm so cleaning my room after work today...
Those things always scare me. I'm sure that you could argue the case in court because of that, and that they could see that the man was awful close behind you.
One time I had to run a red light while a cop was watching me, because I didn't have time to slow down. He didn't do anything...
Involuntary shudders run up and down my back. You haven't seen the mess my cats make when they kill something. Then they drag the mutilated carcass and drop it lovingly on my pillow, or some other place where I will stumble upon it. I read somewhere that they do that so we will be proud of...
I'm really not a fan of capital punishment, but I have to admit that I thought Saddam should be executed. He was a constant threat to the lives of millions while alive, even in jail. No one's going to try to bust Charles Manson out of jail, but certainly there's some supporter who would do so...
LOL. I never feed my cats live animals. Well, not intentionally, anyway.
There WAS this one time when I was little that I had a hamster. This hamster got loose one day, and we were all over the house looking for it. We eventually found said hamster on the ground in our play room...
I honestly didn't realize that, either. I had seen a few of her posts and thought she seemed like an intelligent person and would be a good addition to the forum. I think I'd have to wait to hear what she has to say about that. She appeared to be quoting from many sources in said post, and...
We used to have them, but we have four cats. Two of those like to kill things when they get outside. We live near a field, so that's where the mice used to come from. But anyway, I've never noticed it before, and my room has been plenty messy over the years.
I imagine I can drive it off...
Thank you so much. Most of the activity goes on while I'm in bed, and I have such a trash can in my room, though it's rather full. I will try that. Perhaps a combination of tactics from both of you, which I greatly appreciate.
Some of those comments were made by a person who hasn't been here very long and probably is not very familiar with the moderating team yet.
I didn't think you responded to me specifically, but I just thought that maybe I had better clarify that I don't think the mods aren't doing their job...
I have a problem and I don't know what to do about it. For days I'd been hearing scuffling noises in my room, which is getting messy, that sounded like someone was walking over the papers on the floor. These noises always ceased as soon as I turned my head.
Naturally, I assumed that it was...
I suppose I'm lucky. My mother and I always have discussions about books and she always knows what to get me. Sometimes she'll pick out books that I didn't ask for that I wind up liking, but I'll admit that it doesn't happen very often.
I'm not criticizing the moderating team. I think moderating is harder than everyone thinks and I applaud the team for being liberal and considering everything. I'm rather fond of our moderators, in fact. I like being able to post without looking over my shoulder all the time, but I think it's...
Hey, I was talking to Ori and she wants to go see it. So does her sister, Paige, but Paige is pretty cool for a kid. I said I'd take them to see it when my mom and I go; maybe you could come too! It'd be three incredibly cool people--you, me, Ori--in one theater! Can you imagine the awesomeness?
I thought you'd think it was amusing that one of my neighbors got a sunflower tattooed on her butt for her fiftieth birthday. She'll show anyone who asks. Which is sort of embarassing at times.
I'm a bit cynical, mostly in my depressive moments. But mostly I trust people, although I don't think I'm gullible enough to trust everything someone says.
And I'm only eighteen, so maybe that's going to change.
