    J.R.R. Tolkien: The Silmarillion

I found the Silmarillion an easy read, though whenever I say this, people think I'm nuts. (Most likely true. :p) I love The Silmarillion. It is a beautiful book! However, a good companion that I highly recommend to this book is 'The Lays of Beleriand', book 3 in 'The History of Middle-earth'...

The Return of the King question

I really don't know if Frodo dies in Valinor. I like to believe that he doesn't, and that he and Sam were reunited. I'm a sucker for happy endings...but hey I can think of it that way because Tolkien never really explained it. I just like to believe that he doesn't die.

The Most overrated fiction book ever?

I agree with Libre too. Well, sort of, as I haven't read most of the books on that list...just with the idea that just because someone hates this book, that doesn't mean its a bad book. For instance I love The Lord of the Rings but I'm just weird.:p But usually if I hear a LOT of bad reviews...

Two classic blonde jokes that I found hilarious!!! How do you drown a blonde? By putting a scratch 'n sniff sticker at the bottom of a pool. One day a blonde went to the doctor. "What is wrong?" he asked. "I don't know...everywhere I touch, I hurt." the blonde replied. The doctor...

How do you guys read books? I need advice

I am a speedreader...so much so that I make myself slow down, or I just won't get the book at all! As for reading itself, reading is a great way to learn, but don't forget the enjoyment!
