I buy cheap plastic crates. I stack them as I fill them. Eventually I go through and throw some away, possibly after cutting out material that I wish to retain.
I don't believe this at all, especially when I have always been an avid book reader and someone who has enjoyed comics. Many of the people I know and have associated with online are also people that enjoy both books and comic books. I am a long standing member on a forum for a certain horror...
I enjoy comics like The Sandman, The Watchmen, Swamp Thing (Moore), and some other older stuff. There's not a lot of new stuff, other than manga, that interests me.
I would shop independent stores if I could actually find one that isn't more than an hours drive. The only bookstore that I know of within a reasonable distance is part of a chain.
I must be tired, or bored. I'm still thinking about frogs. Three times last night I went out to check on the frog. I had imagined that it was dropped on my balcony after fighting for it's life; that perhaps some big bird had grabbed it up intending to feed it to it's young and as it flew over...
I buy 5.5" X 3.5" spiral bound notebooks, then I can tear out what I don't need without losing the stuff I still want. Otherwise I just cross off individual notes.
When life gets in the way of reading I make more time by losing an hour or two of sleep at night. :| I'm happy enough if I can a half hour to an hour of reading in a day, though I prefer more than that.
I'm wondering about frogs.
I looked out the window and noticed that there was something larger than the typical moth on the window. Much to my surprise I found that it was a small frog. What on earth is a frog doing on my window? I live on the third floor, how the heck did it get up here...
I have The Night Stalker and The Night Strangler on DVD. I thought they were going to put out the rest of the series on DVD but it doesn't seem to be happening. Too bad I didn't collect it when it was available on VHS.
I heard one really bad review of the new series - which was about all I...
The Ring was horrible in that it put so much emphasis on the relationships and they changed everything that was scarey in Ringu to weird stuff - like the horse jumping off the ferry, the bug in the box, the father doing the jitter-bug in the bathtub, etc. They may have been shocking but I don't...

What is your favourite book? I don't favor one book above all others.
Why is it your favourite?
How often do you read and why? I read daily. Reading is a way of learning and I enjoy learning new things. Reading is a simple way to relax and let go of...
I keep track of books that I want to read and books that I want to know more about - it's not a nice neat list though. I fill small notepads with notes on all kinds of things: shows, books, movies, music, etc, that I might be interested in, recipies to try, I plan out what I'm going to eat for...
Kookamoor brings an issue to mind that I had not considered.
Let's address the issue of whether women need to wear make-up. The way I hear it, from men especially, is that while they don't like a woman that wears too much mak-up, they perceive a woman that wears some make-up as a woman that...
Falling way behind on the forum because people post too much or I don't log on enough. :(
I have a pile of laundry to fold (which is probably getting very wrinkly), I need to make some jellied cranberries, I want to make a coffee cake, and if I'm not too worn out on cooking I might make a...
Which manager to I take more seriously, the one with well fitting ironed slacks, shirt neatly tucked in, or the guy with wrinkly ill fitting slacks and his shirt sloppily tucked in? The first. Why? Because his appearance implies that he is more serious about what is expected of him. It...
