Not particularly, but I do pick up a biography once and a while. I've been meaning to get into some medical texts soon, and I have been reading some speed reading books as well. Very interesting.
Ah, well I'm hoping to get into the medical field so I'll probably find it very interesting. I've been meaning to expand my book horizons, so this will be perfect.

By the way, I'm totally jealous of you for working at a used bookstore! We have an amazing half-price book store where I live, but you have to be 18. I had to go with my fall back plan...a grocery store :p.
The exact same thing happened to me! I was completely shocked. I think A Bridge to Terabithia was the first book I read that did not end happily. I cried for days, and I became a bit traumatized as well. Just thinking about it makes me sad.
I always make it a point to finish a book, but if it's really dragging, I just read the ending and move on to the next book. I did this with The Da Vinci Code, The Lovely Bones, and The Historian. Too many books start out strong only to get very lacking in the middle, and then finishing up very...
