Do you listen while you read???

I can't listen to music with lyrics in it while I'm reading, so I just turn on some classical and I'm good to go.

    Last seen...

Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest. It was a decent film, but nowhere near as good as the first. Not surprisingly.

How do you store your mags?

Excellent idea. Right now I've got stacks of magazines thrown under my bed. Horrible place to put them, but at least I forgot about them for a while.

    Which magazines do you read?

I don't read many magazines, but I do like to browse through Time and Discover, and I sometimes enjoy Seventeen for their real life stories. Oh, and I admit it...I love Seventeen's embarrassing moments section. :p

    Teen Magazines

I completely agree, and it's such a shame. I believe though, that Seventeen is taking a nice leap in the right direction. They feature women of all shapes an sizes when modeling clothing. They have many articles on the normal feminine things like makeup and fashion, but then they have some very...

    Comic books vs. books

For me, comics are essential in my reading. What I mean is, I'll have just finished a very long and indepth book, and my mind needs a break. I read a manga book or two, and I'm ready to go for another book. A comic book is like a little mental healing process to prepare my brain for another...

    what books made you cry?

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince The Lovely Bones The Color Purple Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix The Love Hina series (Who knows why, it was probably because I read the whole series and it was finally over. OK, so this probably doesn't qualify as a book, but I had to add it...

What are you listening to Right now?

I'm a fan! Pink Floyd is excellent, but I like the "Another Brick in the Wall" album better. And there's nothing wrong with oldies, I think it's the best kind. :) Right now I'm listening to classical internet radio. Currently it's playing Rene Gruss - Bellatrix.

Kids can be so cruel. I'm glad we never had to be hall monitors.

T.V. decency going down the tubes?

I haven't watched TV in a while, so I wouldn't know if there was some sort of sexual content increase. But honestly, if there is, then it's the parents job to monitor their kids and what they are watching. And if the parent doesn't want to watch a show featuring sexual content, then just turn...

Night time reading: Can you do it? Do you do it?

I totally agree. There's something about the birds chirping and the sun rising that makes reading more enjoyable. It's peaceful.

    Do you have a tattoo...

I also agree with Samerron. Tattoos just don't seem sensible to me. I mean, when you get older, it would just wrinkle with your skin, and fade, and end up looking a bit odd. But I guess it isn't a problem if you've got one in a place that isn't normally exposed.

    Giving Back To The Community

Actually, I just applied to volunteer at the Children's Hospital near me. It was a rough process; orientation, interview, medical tests, another orientation...but it's going to be worth it. I get to play with little kids on the general medicine floor, and I get to work up to kids with more...
