Fall apart? Oh boy.
I'm half a foot smaller than you and I just feel really cramped in them. If my upper body was longer (and legs shorter) then my head would be through the roof, and if my legs were longer... that would be ridiculous. You must have bigger Minis in your part of the Universe. :D
Oh right, cool. I've got De-loused in the Comatorium standing on my bookshelf upstairs. I haven't really listened to the Mars Volta for a while now, though. Incidentally, Slint are performing in London on the 1st and 2nd of March. I'll be there on the 2nd if my goddam tickets arrive!
Current...
Wow, inter-species (I want to write 'racial', but people will misunderstand my meaning) relationships! Sounds like fun. I've finally got my grubby paws on Peridio Street Station and am really enjoying that at the moment. The two main characters are also partaking in an inter-racial relationship...
May contain concepts that you'll be uncomfortable with.
Hehe - if I have a child and she's female, I'm planning on calling her Elanor.
My own names are:
Hobbit: Wilibald Tighfield of Tookbank [I have a bald penis, and a field of ties?]
Elf: Aranel Lúinwë [I'm a toilet with shining urine...
Hmm... those pesky Minis. I can't fit in them comfortably! Mind you, I can't fit in great big coaches comfortably either, because the seats are too damn close together. :(
I got The Sound and the Fury by William Faulkner.
Strong-willed but deeply confused, you are trying to come to grips with a major crisis in your life. You can see many different perspectives on the issue, but you're mostly overwhelmed with despair at what you've lost. People often have a hard...
Wah-hoo! I am my favourite book: The Lord of the Rings. I didn't like the last question about Spirituality though. I wasn't really happy ticking any of the boxes on that question, but I had to, so I went for 'Beautiful myths and songs play a great role in my spirituality, and many think its...
Hehe, yeah I love Amazon, Mr. Wabbit. I didn't used to though, until I discovered the New & Used bit, and the free postage for over £20 (£19 now). But... I still get my books at their main store, to get the free postage, because you can pay quite a bit on postage for books on there. I get my CDs...
Wow, me timbers are shiverin'!
I've just bought:
Aldous Huxley's 'Brave New World'
Gabriel Garcia Marquez's 'One Hundred Years of Solitude'
China Mieville's 'Perdido Street Station'
Jonathan Swift's 'Gulliver's Travels'
F. Scott Fitzgerald's 'The Great Gatsby'
Daniel Defoe's...
Wow, that all sounds cool. I don't think I've heared that Waltz by Brahms though, unless I'm very much mistaken. Or Old Time Rock and Roll for that matter. I might try and grab a copy of both of those works, :D. I'm listening to Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 at the moment though, and it...
I am friends with Freya (if she'll have me) - she's great! Yeah, I write very defensively all the time. I write incredibly defensively when I do care infact. I don't think that post was very defensive though - I must write so defensively that I'm just so used to it and don't even notice it when...
That's one of my soon-to-read books. I loved 1984 by him. I was pretty surprised at how easy it was to read. For some reason I thought it would be pretty difficult and long-winded. Not, in the slightest.
Yeah, Donnie Darko's amazing. Just get it off Amazon, it's pretty reasonable on there I think. It's a pretty philosophical movie. Donnie sort of reminds me of Holden from The Catcher in the Rye infact.
I haven't, unfortunately. I don't even know where the River Tees is - I'll have to get out an atlas and have a look. As for you being a Northerner - I'm just nothing. I'm me and just happen to be living in Manchester at the moment. I'm getting the hell out of England anyway when I can afford to...
